During the summer of 2020, I started working on 50Humans project. I traveled to 10 different cities and towns in Belgium. I have met 50 refugees and immigrants to document their stories of success and have taken portraits for each of them. The goal was bring some positive stories in a time where negativity takes a lot of our attention, as well as to show their contribution no matter where they come from or what skin color they have. 50Humans was a fully individual project, crowdfunded by friends and people online. The first expo was held in Brussels September 2021. Currently the exhibition is still moving around in Belgium. Find out more at 50Humans.net.
